The starting point for the art painting is an abstract art world. The placement of the colors and elements on the canvas gives associations to an explosion a la Big Bang. It is in this context that the title "Pulse" should be seen. The painting is a reference to life and its insistence on survival.
The production process itself is carried out in a continuous workflow. First, the basic motif is drawn on the empty canvas. Then the different materials in the form of paint, media, lines and elements are added little by little. In several layers on top of each other, until the result is as desired. After drying is complete, 2 layers of top coat are applied to the canvas to protect against UV light and dust and dirt.
All the materials used in the process are of very high quality: The paint and media come primarily from the renowned manufacturer Golden Artist Colors. I use their colors because they have a high content of real pigments, which gives colors that burn through and last for many years. The canvas comes from Italy and consists of a cotton/linen mix with a structured surface. The blind frame is made of European softwood, which is dried down to 12-14% and glued to ensure the best possible stability.
