I have created this canvas painting using an artistically quite difficult process, where the entire painting is created in one continuous work process, while the paint is still wet. Colors, shapes and lines are continuously added in several layers on top of each other, until the desired motif has emerged on the canvas. Errors during the process cannot be corrected, so it places great demands on precision and knowledge of how the colors mix and move around on the canvas.
The art materials must be of absolute top quality, as a consequence of the process and the result with several thick layers of paint on top of each other. The paint is from leading manufacturers of acrylic art paint, primarily Golden Artist Colors. The thick 470 g/m2 canvas in 100% linen is made by an Italian manufacturer who specializes in making linen canvas and has been doing so for many years. And the frame strips are made of pine with short pieces that are finger-jointed, as this provides unparalleled stability. The wood has FSC certification because it comes from sustainable forestry.
