The painting has a picture structure that contains a great variety with lots of beautiful effects. In a mixture of colors that stand with sharp edges opposite each other, and colors that melt easily into each other and create new color nuances. The production has been based on an exploratory approach. Where there has been a focus on creating strong and colorful colors that pique curiosity and impress with an exciting motif. The title "Stellar" is a reference to the beautiful colors and their ability to create new connections and elements.
The production process is carried out in a continuous workflow a la Action Painting. To start, the basic motif is sketched on the canvas. Then paint, media, elements and lines have been added little by little, as needed. This has happened in several layers until the final image motif has been completed. When the painting is dry, a top layer of varnish has been applied for protection.
The materials used are all of very high artist quality. This is a requirement I place on all my art, not least the paintings. I do this because it gives paintings that will last many years into the future, and still look just as good with beautiful colors and a stable frame. Top quality media and paints that use an unusually high proportion of real pigments in the products. The canvas comes from Italy, it is of a thick quality that is suitable for large paintings with lots of paint on it. And the stretch frame is made of European pine wood, which is finger-jointed in short bars to ensure optimal stability.
